12-5-11

Today I starting working with some 440-C steel. I will post some pics later.

11-6-11

forged of 5160 tool steel, I plan to leave some of the hammer marks.

I removed some of the weight on the handle to keep balance.

It would be nice with a router of some sort... maybe one day.

Most likely a brown Cocobolo wood handle with two brass pins.

10-23-11

finished:

5160 steel, Elk, silver

10-20-11

10-17-11

5160 tool steel, nice piece of wood, nickel silver front and back

Plain, simple and super durable.

9-28-11

In the works:

Above, Left one: small with olive wood

Right one: not sure yet. both 5160 steel

First attempt doing a textured handle like Jens Anso, still in the works

Well, here's my first sheath, still needs to be formed.

I still need to form it, dry it, and double-dip in bees wax and mink oil

*******************************************************************************

My very first attempt at knife making:
This is still in a rough stage.  Still to do: polish the handle and make a sheath.
